Feeding the duckies!

We've been in potty training mayhem over here. Em has been doing a remarkably well, and I'm so proud of her. We had an accident free day on Sunday, and only 1 accident on Saturday. She also seems to have gotten the hang of things at daycare too. So we are on our way. I'm not sure it is a result of potty training, or just something else, but EC has been an awful sleeper lately. Not wanting to go to bed, up for a few hours each night. All she wants is for me to lay with her (not daddy, just mommy). So I've been pretty exhausted. Last night she actually slept, but I'm not holding my breath that it is a trend!

Lots of weekend fun. Out for ice cream (twice...not so good for the diet), feeding the ducks, dinners with family, Chris and I volunteered for wigs for kids and the toy store. Full weekend! Love this family, and feel so very blessed.

Another Weekend!

We had a great time this weekend! Friday we went on a family bike ride to look at that train and get ice cream. EC was pretty much in heaven! Saturday was Adam and Marissa's engagement party. It was a neighborhood pack so Em had free range of a huge playgrounds, so yeah life doesn't get much better! Sunday we hit up the Taste of Tremont (so good!) and hung out with Aunt Caitlin and Uncle Opa! And is super duper OMG can't believe it news-EC is potty training. Yesterday she woke up, told Daddy she had to go potty and has been using the potty ever since. She hasn't had an accident yet (we did use a diaper over night) and has gone 1 and 2 in the potty (sorry if this is TMI...but Moms out there are proud!). Hopefully she keeps it up. What a sweetheart!

EC and Daddy sleeping (sorry for the bad quality-didn't want to turn on the light). EC came in at 5:30 this morning and decided to spend her next two hours of sleep in our bed. She kept telling Daddy to scoot over, scoot over. As you can see I also was not left much room!

NYC!

This past weekend Chris and I took a trip to NYC, just the two of us. We had a ton of fun-but I quickly learned that I'm not a big city girl! It is true, that town never sleeps (and you all know how much I love to sleep!) It was also super hard being away from my baby girl, but she had a lot of fun with Nana and Grandma. So thankful for the one on one time with Chris and the memories we made. Happy to be home!

NYC! We went and saw Once on Broadway-this is how stinking close we were (taken on an iphone-no zooming in). We got Rush tickets the morning of-and great seats and huge discount!

Central Park-Chris decided it would be a great idea to do a bike ride around central park-guess what Central Park is HUGE and hilly (and you only get the bikes for 1 hour or you have to pay extra) yeah...my legs were burning! :)
