Weekend Fun!

Well...our weekend planned away was a dud. Lou Lou ended up getting sick (oh...and by sick I mean throwing up..a lot...all over our carpet...) so we decided to stay home. She seemed to be back to her old self by Friday night, but we still laid low on Saturday, just running some errands and getting stuff done around the house. Which meant we had to fit ALL of our fun in on Sunday! Sunday morning we went to the metroparks (one of my main reasons to move back to Cleveland!) and went for a nice hike. Like the jogging stroller? (thank you Nicole and August). While it will likely NEVER see either of us running, it is great to take on the trails! LouLou had a great time and even go some "off leash" (we use a 50ft rope, just in case) in the woods. Poor thing needed it, she is missing her yard for sure! After nap time, we all went to the neighborhood pool for a little dip. EC did great blowing bubbles, kicking and even went all the way under a few times. Great weekend all around-and we are excited for our newly planned weekend at the Moormans in two weeks!

Father's Day

What? No pictures? I know...everyone was excited to see EC. But, for some reason this weekend, she was naked, a lot! She was having so much fun with her water table and eating watermelon-clothes just seemed counter productive. I did take pics...and they are darn cute..but didn't think I should post them. I'll be sure to get lots of pics this weekend when we take our trip to Cinci to see the cousins! (oh, and Ray and Jill).

We had a great Father's day-did I mention that Chris is a great dad? Because he is! He has so much energy with EC, and is always present when with her. You know what I mean? He's too distracted by his phone or TV or thinking about a to do list (I am SO guilty of the last one..)he's just with her in the moment, soaking it all up.  So happy father's day to him! We went out to breakfast just the 3 of us, then had pasta with homemade sauce with Chris' grandpa and Dad and Mom.

Oh, and I got a gift for father's day. Because, did I mention, Chris is great.  Here is what it looks like-so prefect! The initials on mine are EC.

Super excited to be at the NKOTB concert! (yes...Chris was one of about 10 guys at the concert...)

Wow! What a crazy weekend! As you can see from the photos above, our stuff finally arrived! Oh...and we have a lot of stuff...so Chris and I got down to business Saturday and Sunday morning and got EVERYTHING put away. It was a crazy 24 hours. EC had to stay at Nana's Saturday night because we were scared what would happen if she entered the land of boxes! Although it was an exhausting weekend, it feels good to be settled!

EC had lots of fun with grandma and nana this weekend! We missed the little nugget!

Chris and I also squeezed in a date night-went to the NKOTB concert (98 degrees and Boys2Men opened). The concert was actually much better than I thought it would be (except for 98 degrees...they were kind of awful...which ruined my childhood since I totally loved them...).

I'm just not sure who is cuter! That stinkin' dog or that little rugrat. What do you think? I must say, I love the both and wouldn't trade 'em for the world! So glad that we are all back together again (oh and it's nice to have Chris here too...but I guess he didn't make the cute list...).

EC and Lou are doing great together! EC loves chasing Lou, and Lou tolerates it well-probably due to the fact the EC loves to feed Lou (what can I say, she's a great sharer?). Bliss :)

Look at our little cutie! (and Tom and Kate's little cutie Elise!). Looks like we have a pair of best friends on our  hands-they better get ready for lots of fun summer days at the pool!

For those of you wondering if our stuff has made it from Savannah yet...the answer is a big NO! We have now been told it will be here Saturday. At this point, I'm not holding my breath...But we are focusing on the positives that we are together as a family! Yay! We are "moved in" to our new place with the things we have-kind of like a camp out! Once everything is in, I'll take some pictures to post-but I am LOVING IT! Chris...well he is still getting to know the Westside. I think he'll love it once he stops getting lost all of the time!
