Jordan had his 4 month doctors appointment last week. He is up to 11 lbs and 22 inches long-for a 2 month old that would put him at about the 50 percentile for height and 25th for weight...he is not on the growth curve yet for a 4 month old, but that is pretty normal since he was 2 months early. His pediatrician was a amazed by how well he is doing! Smiling, laughing (he has for Chris and Nana...but not for me!), rolling from front to back. He is still working on neck control but it is getting better each week for sure.

Em  had her back to school picnic on Sunday (starts Wednesday) and she is beyond excited! She got to visit with a few friends. She is going to have a nice small class this year (about 6 students) which will be great. I expect she'll learn a lot!

Did I mention we are crazy and decided to remodel our bathroom in the midst of starting back at school?

I never post pics of myself-Chris got a few so I felt obligated to post...Jordan was hitting me in the face, little bugger)

 World's saddest face!
 Em taking selfies (yep!)

He is just too cute!

Bathtub in! (we only had a small shower before, we knocked out a wall to the pantry to expand the bathroom)

So we had to build a new pantry

Hopefully we'll have finished pics by next week? A girl can dream!

What a week! Students moved back to BW this week, so it was pretty crazy at work for me. But I feel like we are back in the swing of things (kind of...). Saturday the kiddos got to spend lots of quality family time with visitors. Sunday was super low key-but we did take both kids out to lunch and it was actually stress free-which is not the norm! Em has been on her best behavior lately trying to "earn" a Shopkins game (which she did on Saturday). Jordan is just cute, smiling a ton and laughed once for Chris! We have his 4 month appointment this week-I'm excited to hear what they have to say about his progress! Ok, enjoy the pics!

Life is a little bit of a blur right now, but at least I'm taking pics to remember it! Jordan had a great Dr. appointment on Friday with the neurosurgeon. His brain bleed still looks stable and everything continues to be improving. They keep saying he is a miracle, and we agree! He has is smiling like crazy now and getting more and more interactive each day. We love this kid with all of our hearts! Em is a super big sister and enjoying her last few days of summer before starting JK. Chris and I are doing great, and are crazy and decided to remodel the downstairs bathroom. It is going to be awesome when it is done...but seriously what are we thinking! Other than that, just trying to keep all the balls in the air!
 This kid cracks me up!
hehe when he smiles he kind of looks like an old man

Jords starts daycare today, feeling a mix of emotions, but I know he'll be getting lots of love from Suzie! Other than that, we are just getting use to our new normal with me working (meaning the house is a wreck and no laundry is done...the other night I ate "dinner" at 9pm and it was an instant breakfast drink and zucchini bread...so yeah...).
Eating Veggies!

Welp, I'm officially back at work. Bittersweet, HATE leaving my babies but happy to get back to my norm a bit (I've been out of the office since March 17th and on leave since April 22nd-crazy! So much has happened since then!).

Before returning to work, we went on a short vacation to Pittsburgh and Idlewild Amusement Park. It was so fun, and Jordan did great! I was a little worried about him being out of our routine a bit, but he really is such an easy going baby. Em had the time of her life swimming in the "hot pool" (hot tub) and riding rides, visiting animals, eating junk food. Basically the perfect vacation for her!

Life is about to get more hectic with working full time and having two kids, but we are embracing the chaos! Enjoy the pics!
