Jordan had round 2 of botox-he was a real champ about it! They have to put him under general anesthesia (which  is scary for mom and dad) but he seems to do really well with it. He also got fitted this week for his new AFOs (leg braces that go up his shin). They are taller than his SMOs he currently has, so I'm interested to see how he'll adjust. We'll know if a few weeks! This little man has been through a lot in his 3 years, but he is such a happy-fun-loving kid. 

Em had an awesome weekend at Nanas. Happy to have our little girl back hom! 

 

We had a great time on our little weekend getaway-despite the rain! Kiddos had fun petting and feeding animals and at the amusement park. It was a bummer that we could not do the water park, but we got tickets for a return visit, so we'll try to go this fall sometime. 

Jordan had his second round of Botox today, he did great. He is already so much looser on his left side and using his hand way more. It is amazing how quickly and well it works! 

Time to get in to school shopping mode! Not sure how that happened so fast! But, here we are! This weekend Em and I have a shopping date for schools shoes (oh, and likely something glittery from Claire's). Can't wait!

Enjoying our summer days. 

Jo had CP clinic follow up. We'll soon be doing 3 weeks of intensive constraint therapy (basically he'll wear a cast on his good arm and have 3 hours of therapy 5 days a week and then casted 24 hours a day). We are still figuring out the logistics-but we'll make it work. They've seen HUGE improvements in "remapping" the brain for these young kiddos. Nervous but excited for him! 

Em is doing camp this week at school I think she is relieved for some structure (and Chris is relieved that he'll be able to get some work done!). 

We leave for vacation (long weekend) in a few days-can't wait.

Happy 4th of July! Had some awesome time off with the kiddos. Lots of outside time, pool, boat, Cedar Point, Target. What could be better? Jo had a bit of a cold the whole week, but didn't let that stop him! Lots of fun!
