How is Christmas a week away?! Not sure how that is even possible. Of course, I wish I was further along in wrapping gifts and grocery shopping/cleaning but it'll all happen. Or not...

Kiddos are great-getting excited for Christmas! Em had her holiday concert at school and saw The Nutcracker with Nana. Jordan rode the tricycle at therapy all by himself this week! Big deal!

Let's see, fun holiday happenings...we took the kiddos to see the lights in Strongsville. They both had a blast! Jordan was talking all over and kept say " I want to touch the lights, I want to touch the lights": It was very cute. We had my holiday party at work, Em was my date and she had a blast. I still have not wrapped a single present, but I'd say I'm 90% done shopping, so that's good?! Lou got her Christmas present early-a new dog bed. She slept pretty much the whole day yesterday, so I guess it is comfy!

Two more weeks!

Merry Christmas!

Kiddos are doing well. Em has a really good week at school so hopefully she can keep it up this week! She tends to be on the chatty side...
Jordan is also great. He jumped (two feet off the ground) for the first time in therapy today! This is a HUGE accomplishment! Counting down the days until Christmas!! We are trying to take things easy, and not put too much pressure on things and just enjoy them time with family and friends!

Enjoy the pics!

Happy Thanksgiving!! We had a wonderful time with family and a great mix of relaxing and getting things done. Ready to start the Christmas season!

These two cuties went and saw Santa this weekend. So, beyond blessed to have these loves in our life. We went to breakfast Sunday (for the first time everyone actually sat and ate the who meal!). When we were waiting to eat, Jordan was playing at a small train table near our table while Em was coloring with me. Some boys went to go play with the trains too, and Em immediately got up and became Jordan's little protector (not that he needed it-by boys were very nice to him). But it was so funny to see her spring in to action making sure no one messed with her bro. They really love each other!

Anyone else just ready for a nap?! Love these two-but they have lots of energy! Can't wait for Thanksgiving and a LONG weekend!

I feel like my posts have been so short lately, so a few updates.

Jordan is a walking fool! I'd say he walks about 90% of the time now, which is so amazing. He has even stood up from the ground without pulling up a few times now. He loves to dance and sing and is seriously the sweetest kid. He is pretty much always happy, and even when he is having a terrible two moment, it is short lived. We just recently have been re-approved from the county for funding for his therapy which is AMAZING! We only get 20 visits through insurance, and the rest are out of pocket. Ouch. Jordan is also doing preschool once a week. While physically behind, he is impressing everyone with his vocabulary and knowledge of numbers and letters. He is one smart cookie for sure!

Speaking of smart cookies-Em is loving school this year! BIG change from last year. She is killing it in reading and math. Not so much in spelling. Poor thing studies so hard and just can't get it right when it comes time to take the test. But she is learning an important life lesson-not everything comes to people easy. She has also started practicing for her Christmas concert at school She even asked if we could put the Christmas tree up last weekend. I was all for it, Dad said we had to wait until Halloween is over (boo!).

Chris and I are just embracing the craziness of life with two kiddos and thanking God for our many blessings!

Mommy was out of town last week-enjoying lazy days at the beach! Dad and Grandma did a great job taking care of the kiddos. Now, time to get back in to the swing of things!! Happy FAll!
