What an amazing weekend! Chris was home-absolute bliss! We could not have had a better visit. We were able to have lots of family time, and hang out with Friends on Sunday for Chris' 30th! It was so sad to see him leave on Monday (but I won't dwell on that...don't want to cry all over the keyboard!). We can't wait to have him back full time. As you can see EC LOVES her daddy!! 

In other news we have our first ear infection with tubes. Poor baby girl-but she didn't let it stop her from having a fun weekend. Also, she now weighs 22LBS and is 29inches! WOW!!

Once again a VERY busy weekend! On Friday night Mark and Caitlin came to play and brought EC her adorable new tutu! Yes, folks, she is wearing a tutu! Can't wait to see what it looks like with the purple leg warmers...stay tuned!

Saturday we stopped by the home and garden show to see Uncle Adam and Grandma Claudia! It was lots of fun. EC found the swing set she wanted...to bad it cost $3100!! So...instead we let her play on the swing.

Sunday was spent part of the afternoon with grandma Claudia shopping (until we dropped!) and EC got lots of new clothes and showed Grandma what she wanted for her birthday! I can't believe the two of them fit in the electric car...

Sunday night EC met second (?) cousin Amy and Great (?) Aunt Sue and Uncle Tom. We got to eat dinner and play.

Like I said, jam pack weekend of fun! Can't wait until Thursday when Daddy comes to visit us for a long weekend!!

 As you can see...she is a bit of a messy eater...  (yes that is banana on her nose).

My pretty girl! As you can see in the background, she thought that the TV cabinet needed to be cleaned out...

We've decided that it is time for EC to start earning her keep. Put her to work cleaning the floors...it is after all, her fault the are so messy! : )  EC also loves "helping" to empty the dishwasher and "re-organizing" cabinets. All I can say is that the house would be a mess without her!!



Just Playing

Let's observe a few things in these pictures. First, that bin of toys has been completely emptied. Yes, Emma Clare had ever single toy she owned scattered on the floor. I'm pretty sure this is her heaven! Secondly, you may assume Emma Clare hates socks (since she is NEVER wearing them) but you are wrong! She always takes her socks off and laughs and now has started collecting them! She likes to bring them with her from room to room and then she stole one of my mom's socks too (the black onein the picture). And lastly, and I know it's been said before, but how cute is she? Is it just because I'm her mom, or is she really just stinking cute!!

Emma Clare had a great time with her cousins Ryan and Connor. Her and Ryan had lots of fun getting into "trouble". It was a short visit (especially between nap times and early bed times) but we made the most out of it! Thanks Aunt Jeannie and Uncle Paul for letting Ray and the kids stay out your place! We had a lot of fun!

As you can see one of Emma Clare's favorite things is her teapot that she got for Christmas. Friday night we had a little tea party with her stuffed animals. Too cute! Oh, and do you like her tutu? Her daycare teacher gave her that outfit...
