Jordan is 1 year old! (well almost, 2 days away...) I can't even believe how far we have come. A few quick stats:
Weight at Birth: 2lbs 14oz
Length: 15 inches
Current Weight (at 11mo-last check up): 19lbs
Length 30 inches
Number of days in the NICU: 41
Number of doctor's/PT&OT appointments since leaving the NICU: 66
The amount that we love this little boy can not even be quantified. He has overcome so much already. While he still has a few battles to fight, we know it is by grace of God that he has done and continues to do so well. Happy Birthday my beautiful boy!
28 Weeks (start of hospital bed rest)
Born at 31 Weeks 5 days weighing 2lbs 14oz and 15 inches long
All of the tubes and wires. I do not miss theses days!
First time Mom held Jordan (3 days old)

First time Dad held Jordan (6 days old)
Kangaroo care. (skin to skin). Mom would typically spend 6 or more hours each day dong kangaroo care in the NICU. Dad would come up at night for another 2-3 hours. Without a doubt one of the best things for both Jordan and us!
First bottle
Real clothes for the first time and (almost) All tubes and wires removed! (feeding tube had to remain until Jordan could take all feedings by mouth-3 days before we left the NICU)
Happy Mother's Day! First time Grandma held Jordan!
Moved to "big boy" crib and able to maintain body temperature on his own!
Time to come home! Came home weighing 4lbs 13oz.
