Despite lack of sleep form Jordan due to some major teething, we had a fun weekend. Saturday Em had dance class and it was parent watch week-she was so cute! Em and I had a date night on Saturday and went to Build a Bear and out to dinner. It was great to get to spend some one on one time with my girlie! Sunday we did a little shopping and got to spend some time with family and friends.

Both kiddos are doing great. Jordan is up to 18.5lbs and so close to being able to sit on his own. He can do an army crawl, but not up on all fours just yet.

Em is doing great too. She is getting so good at learning how to read! She knows a ton of site words and is getting more confident sounding words out. We are trying not to push her too much with it, but in the last few weeks she has shown a lot more interest!

Enjoy the pics/videos!

We had Jordan's neurology and neurosurgeon appointment on Thursday. He had his FINAL head ultrasound! The Neurosurgeon said we no longer have to come and see her-that his scans had actually improved (which, typically this does not happen. Really they are just looking for things to stay stable) and that she was so impressed with his progress. The neurologist also said he is doing great, and all of the early intervention seem to be working! Currently he is developmentally on track, and he did not see any reason why this would not continue. We will see him again in 5 months (and twice a year from here on out), but that he does not expect to see any long term effects from the brain bleed. You have NO IDEA how happy this has made us. Such a long way to come in 9 months.

This weekend we got to relax and hang out with family and friends. Em had so much fun with Elise and stayed up later than she eve has!

 BFFs!

 I got this Mom!

A weekend of Jordan! Celebrating the little guy turning 8!! Can't believe it!
