Off to Grandmother's House We Go!

Emma Clare had a weekend of Grandmas! I went to Savannah for a long weekend with Chris. We had a great time seeing friends and getting a lot of packing (and purging!) done. EC had a wonderful time getting spoiled (do you see that cookie! It is the size of her face!). She went to the farm with Nana on Saturday and had lots of fun terrorizing the goats! I'm also so happy that when she slept at Grandma Pat's that she slept through the night in her pack and play! I was a little worried about that. It was great to see Chris (and enjoy Savannah's weather!) but 4 days was just too long to be away from my baby girl! We were VERY happy to see each other this morning! Thank you Grandmas for all of the fun!!

New Kicks!

Do you like my shoes? EC is now walking around like crazy, so we got her first pair of shoes! Keens! Mom and Dad love Keens, and it looks like baby girl does too!

We had an AMAZING weekend! Chris was in town, and we just got to hang out and just spend some time as a family! On Saturday our friends Tom and Kate's daughter was baptized. EC had lots of fun at the after party hanging around and plaing (and did GREAT even with out her regular afternoon nap). Sunday, we walked around the mall and got EC some new shoes. It was just one of those great days. EC was holding on to mommy and daddy's hand walking around the mall trying out her new shoes. Just perfect! Can't wait to have Chris here full time!  A few more weeks.

Football Anyone?

EC was getting her football on at the toystore this weekend (we were there to pick up a water table and balls for her ball pit-thanks Grandpa Ray!). We knew Daddy would be happy about the football!

How is it already the middle of April? Time is going by so quickly! EC has become a walking pro! She is FAST! Our next journey is going to be to get her shoes and try to make her keep them on...if it is anything like socks, I can't guarantee we'll be successful! We had a great weekend hanging out with family-pretty low key. EC is getting a cold (which last night resulted in very, very, very, very little sleep for all). Hoping she'll feel better this weekend when DADA is in town!!

1 Year Appt!

Just love that picture, isn't she the cutest? Nana is going to love the fact that she is in a Halloween shirt (since she made me get rid of the Christmas PJs...what can I say, I love holidays!).

EC had her one year appointment, and is doing great! The Dr. was very impressed with her walking (she is a walking fool now...mommy is tired, but I love it!) an her vocabulary. She did not stop talking the whole time at the appointment. Everything the doctor showed her she said "wazdat", (what's that). It is so cute, she looks at you then and waits for you to answer. Sometimes she'll try to say what you said, but mostly she just asks again, haha. She weight 23lbs (75th percentile) and is 31.5 inches (91st percentile). The doctor was also happy that she is off the bottle (for the most part-we still give her one at night) and doing so well with table food (this girl is an eating machine!) and the sippy cup. We also have transitioned her to just milk! Wahooo!! It's like a raise!

Mark and Caitlin got an awesome new camera-so we've been playing around and having some photo shoots! I think Mark has some real hidden talent (and a pretty darn cute test subject!) Can Emma Clare really be one? Wow, what an amazing year! EC had a great birthday-at daycare Miss Sue made her a cake (chocolate with chocolate frosting-yum!) and gave her lots of presents (including a yellow polka dot bikini...). Mark and Caitlin went all out making her favorite food (homemade mac and cheese) and Grandma and Aunt Denise joined us for the celebration (brining MORE TOYS and CLOTHES!) Emma Clare is one lucky girl to have so much love in her life! Thank you everyone for making it a great day!

Happy Easter! We had a great time with family and friends. Friday we went to the jump yard (kind of lame since EC was too little to allowed on most stuff, boo). But we ended on a high note by going to Tommy's with Mark and Caitlin and Caitlin's mom (such good food!) Saturday we had a beautiful day at the park and then got ice cream for dinner (Great mom, I know!). Check out the video below of EC on the swing. That laugh is something else! For Easter we met Uncle Adam and Aunt Marissa at church, then had some yummy food and LOTS of playing with new toys!
