Jordan had CP clinic. Of course they were amazed by his progress! We a looking at doing a 3 week program this summer where they'll cast his right hand and he'll have 3 hours a PT/day for 3 weeks. Seems like a lot, but we've been told it works miracles! Other than that, kiddos are doing great. Both are at fun ages and our little Jordan is really starting to get a personality (see those dance moves below).

Dance like no one is watching!

Still happy after 2 hours of Drs.!
Cracks me up!

Happy Birthday Chris! It was a weekend of Chris! Friday night we went out with friends to a brewery and crafted cocktail place. Although we were home by 10-we stayed up until almost 2 playing cards and hanging out with friends. Seemed like a great idea until Jordan sill work up just after 6am. Yikes.

Saturday we had family time and endulged in lobster mac and cheese and chocolate ganache cake. Sooo good. Yeah...they diet starts today!

All in all, Chris (who HATES his birthday) has a pretty awesome weekend!

Jo Hurt his knee-sissy set him up on the couch with ice, toys and snacks.

This Cleveland weather is nuts. We go from polar vortex to playing outside with no coats and back again. Of course, kiddos both have stuffy noses from the up and down, just hoping no one gets too sick!

Jordan was a rock star at gymnastics this week. He tried a lot more things that he usually does. One of the Moms asked me how old he was. I got ready to go in to my whole speech about why he walks a little different and does things a little slower, but she quickly added how amazed she was at how well he speaks. Wow. That was kind of an awesome moment!

Em is also rocking gymnastics. This week the concentrated on the high and low bards doing front and back flips. Freaks me out but she loves it. She is still loving school and had a really great group of friends. Glad she is hitting her stride with it all!

Em kept Jordan entertained making him look for all the trucks/cars in the play room. By the way...there are 22...

Weekend project-new butcher block counter on the island.  We are going to see how it holds up-if it goes well we'll do all the counters in this (and paint cabinets white).

I had to work this weekend, so after I was done on Saturday Em and I had  girl's afternoon. We went shopping and out to dinner and ice cream. Em had a blast. It is so fun to get my one on one time with her! Jordan had gymnastics with Daddy. He really tries to keep up with the other kiddos but is SUPER cautions (which we are not use to have our dare devil Emma Clare!).

In other new, Jordan has his first appointment at the CP clinic in 2 weeks. We'll be meeting with 2 developmental pediatricians, a doctor who focuses just on join development (there is a long name for this...but I forget it), PT, OT, nutritionist and social worker. The great thing is that ALL of these people work just with kids with cerebral palsy. And they are all under one roof. His first appointment will be 2-4 hours where we'll meet the whole team, then we'll go from there. It should help us get plugged in to any resources we are not already utilizing as well as keep an extra set of eyes on how Jo is developing. I am very grateful that we have this option available to us, and look forward to meeting our team!

A weekend of Jordan! Celebrating the little guy turning 8!! Can't believe it!
