Emma Clare had a sleepover with grandma this weekend! She was spoiled with LOTS of love (and cookies!). As you can see, she had lots of fun!

In other news, we have several showings for the house this week, so we appreciate positive thoughts!! Anything to get this house sold and our family back together. We are missing Chris! This coming weekend Ray and the kids are coming up to hang out, can't wait! And the following weekend Chris will be visiting us! YAY!!! 

New lovie...Emma Clare is obsessed with this thing! She was hugging him all weekend! Best $5 at Kohls I've ever spent...

Up close and personal! Can you see her teeth!

A fairly uneventful week (as you can see by the pictures...haha). Emma Clare did have her first trip to the mall indoor playground (sorry Chris...he is so grossed out by them) and she LOVED it! She got to pay with her new friend Connor (his mom, El and I went to JCU together!). They both loved watching the bigger kids play. EC also thought she was a big kid and kept going to climb up the slide...which was hilarious! I should have caught that on camera...oh well, next time!! She loved crawling through the tunnel and all around. I wish they had designated play time for little ones-because the big kids were kind of cramping her style! I kept having to pull her out of the way as they trampled by...but she still had a BLAST!

In other news, EC has 2 more teeth! I didn't even realize she was teething...these two must have been easier on her! They are her next two top teeth (not the front ones, but the ones next to them). She also has a bit of a cold right now (doesn't everyone with this weather!) but it doesn't seem to be getting her spirits down!

Emma Clare is loving her time in Cleveland! Grandma Pat got to babysit on Saturday (while I had to work a bit) and they had tons of fun. Then we went to Crocker Park and enjoyed the nice weather! Sunday was all about cooking at Grandma Claudia's! We cooked lots of food, and had great family time. I'd say that EC is the  most loved baby ever! I also love how everyone asks me, "Is she always this happy". I think people are finally starting to believe me! She is just a happy baby!

Just a quick post-I love that top picture! Grandma Claudia had EC in Target trying on different outfits. What a cuttie!!

Saturday marked the day that Chris went back to Savannah. We are missing him so much, but he'll be back in a few weeks for a visit! EC has been having a rough last few days-very clingy (so not like her) and having a hard time sleeping (well...that is nothing new). I'm sure it has to do with all of the transitions taking place-so I'm just trying to give her a little extra love!

Sorry for the lack of blogging, but it has been a crazy week. Emma Clare and I are officially Ohioans! We made the move back on New Year’s Eve. Emma Clare flew home with Grandma Claudia (mom and dad did not think a 12 hour car ride would do her any good…). She did great! Barely fussed at all, even though the flights were around her bedtime. We did the oh so fun drive, which ended up being 2 hours longer due to a slight “detour” that resulted in me asking Chris the question “Um…are we supposed to be in Tennessee?” PS-the answer is NO! But, all is well that ends well!

We did not have it in us to set up EC’s crib-and due to her hatred for the pack and play, Emma Clare and I slept in the daybed in what will be her nursery at Grandma Claudia’s. I just didn’t have the heart to make her sleep all alone after her day of travel and being away from her all day. I know, such a softie! But it was the best new year’s eve ever with my baby in my arms and a kiss from Chris!

The next day set up everything at my Mom’s house, and EC is getting back to her regular routine. I stated my job on Thursday (which I am LOVING!) and EC went to daycare a half day yesterday and today. She seems to really like her new daycare-and so do Mom and Dad!!

In sad news, Chris leaves tomorrow to head back to Savannah. It is going to tough-especially the goodbye, but we already have his next trip to visit planned for February. I can’t wait to just have our family back together again! Please say prayers to help get our house sold!
