We celebrated Chris' 33rd birthday this weekend! He kicked it off with a whiskey tour and dinner with Mark Friday, and Saturday dinner with family. It was a pretty great weekend-and Em was on her best behavior all weekend, which is always great! Chris and Em also had their first snow day on Tuesday an built an igloo. Em was very sad on Friday when it was 55 degrees and the igloo melted..but I'm sure we'll get another storm! On the pregnancy front, I'm happy to be well over half way through. Having problems sleeping, and just kind of overall tired. But I guess that is to be expected at this stage, so we'll push through!
Emmy's igloo!
Totally has trash bags on her feet because we forgot her boots at school. Hey, you gotta be resourceful!
Bumpity bump.
Happy Birthday Daddy!

Go,Team, Go!
Em was really excited about the Super Bowl...that was until she realized it was "just football". I'm not really sure what she expected!! We got to spend some time outside this weekend, which was amazing (although still a little cold). Em also came in and helped me out at work on Saturday, she had a ball. All and all, fun weekend!

Baby Boy Mullen
Quick update. Had a doctor appointment today. Baby boy Mullen is doing great, moving around a ton (although I can't feel him much still...) and heart rate was 153. I'm doing well too, healthy, good BP and weight (somehow I have only gained 7lbs although I seriously feel like it looks like 20...). Next appointment not for another 4 weeks, so just chillin' until then! Hopefully we'll figure out a name sooner than later!

Wow, what a week. Em has a difficult week. The kind that made me cry, twice. I'm sure it is mostly the hormones, but I just kept thinking, how am I going to do this with two? By the weekend, she was back to her good nature self, and we had a nice, fun weekend! I guess being 3 is just hard sometimes!
The face I woke up to Saturday morning. Just love that chicken!
Being silly in her tutu!

Wow! It was a crazy week and weekend. It has been interesting processing that we are having a little boy (being that we are so use to our little girl) but I can honestly say that we are all excited (including Emma Clare! Thank goodness!). So, of course we had to go shopping for some clothes for our little guy this weekend, which made it all seem a lot more real! We are trying to figure out a name, but so far, no luck. I guess we are just going to have to go with Cullen Mullen. We also enjoyed some yummy food (see below) and just crazy times with Miss Em.
This is the outfit that Em choose to go to Giant Eagle in. Including the goggles. Awesome.
See all of those clothes! Got everything you see here for $15-over 50 onezies, 6 sleepers, 3 pairs of overalls, 3 jackets and about 15 pairs of pants along with some other random stuff. All second hand, but looks like new!

Just a glimpse into the dinner from Saturday. Chris made homemade chirizo stuffed dates, wrapped in bacon with a roasted red pepper sauce. Yep, pretty much as amazing as it sounds. I made just goat cheese with honey and smashed pistachios not as fancy but still very yummy!

It's A...
Boy!
I am so happy to announce our little peanut is a boy! So blessed. Both Chris and I are very happy...Em...well not so much. She says she really wanted a sister. But I'm sure she'll come around! We were all able to go to the ultrasound together this morning, which was very special. The doctor said that everything looks right on track and perfect. Baby boy is growing a few days ahead of my due date (Em was at this point too). So happy to have a healthy baby boy! Can't wait to meet you soon little guy! Now...time to start thinking of names!!
