This past week I took some time off of work. It was nice just to hangout with the family We went on a few adventures-Mohican, Amish Country and Cedar Point. Kids got lots of fresh air, play ground time and swimming in. Love that we get this time to spend together, now on to the crazy last few weeks of summer! 

 

Happy 4th of July! Kids had a great weekend full of food, fireworks and being outside. This summer is flying by!

Awesome birthday weekend! Thursday, go to take Jordan to the St. Ambrose fair, Friday one on on time with Em shopping and then lots of friend and family time the rest of the weekend! Chris got me a new fire pit for the backyard-lots of smores were had. All in all, perfect way to celebrate turning 37! 

 

Took the kiddos strawberry picking. They had a blast. Celebrated Chris with burgers and chillin' on Sunday (and I didn't take a single pic!). Summer is off to a great start! Em has basketball camp this week and Jordan is at Safety Town. Dad is excited to have a "little" break. 

 

Kiddos are out for summer! We celebrated with dying Em's hair blue and a trip to the trampoline park. Lots of fun had by all! Kiddos also came and visited me at my "new" office. Lots of fun! 

 

Last week was a rough week. Chris had to work late every day, things just seemed rushed and hectic. On Friday I picked up Em from school and had to run some errands. We were driving past Scene 75, and decided just to go have a little fun instead! Really helped turn my mood around!! Kiddos had a blast. 

This weekend was fun and productive! Finally got caught up on some much needed housework and still managed to have lots of fun in the sun! Em and Chris wrap up school on Tuesday (yay!) Jordan still has one more week, then we are full on in SUMMER mode! 

 

The mountains are my happy place! We had an awesome time hanging out with friends in Gerton, NC for a long weekend. We didn't want to leave! Nothing better than sitting around the fire pit and looking out at the mountains! The kiddos did a great job on the long car ride and we had so much fun!
