New car seat!

Chris is home! Ok, I know I should have a picture of him with EC...but I was just too excited to take pictures! I will this weekend, promise. Chris is finally home and our family is back together. It FEELS GREAT! EC has not left Chris' side since he got home (PS she no longer wants anything to do with me...and I was worried she'd me a momma's girl...). We just had a great weekend of hanging out and getting use to being a family again.

We also signed the lease for our new condo-wahooo! Hopefully all of our stuff will get here soon...although every time I call the moving company, they tell me they have no update on the arrival. Awesome. Looks like we might be camping out there this weekend...

What a fun weekend! EC, Nana and I went to Trader Joe's to do some grocery shopping. EC got her own cart-, and she filled it up! I bought everything she put in her cart...could be some interesting meals this week! We had lots of fun outside on Sunday and Grandma stopped by too! Emma Clare loves her tent, she kept knocking it over though and getting stuck in it, but had a great time!

Happy Mother's Day!!

Happy Mother's Day! I feel so blessed to have this little nugget in my life! Here is the top 10 list of cute things EC does (in no order):

1. Spins around in circles, and then falls down.

2. Gives GREAT BIG BEAR HUGS.

3. Shakes her head and says "no no baby"  with a VERY serious look on her face.

4. Repetes animal sounds-my favorite is a rooster. She goes "dodly do!". I have to get it on tape.

5. Says MMMMMMM when she is eating a food she likes (which is pretty much everything).

6. Lifts up her shirt and pats her belly.

7. Open mouth kisses-I guess they are more like licks. The best is that she usually also has a runny nose...

8. Blows on her food-even food that was never hot.

9. Rocks her baby dolls and gives them kisses .

10. Jumps in her crib, falls down and says BOOM!

What a fun weekend! We really enjoyed all the time outside! We went up to Crocker Park with Grandma to walk around and play Chess and went over to Nana's to play with the water table. EC has pretty much decided on one nap a day-which means more time for having fun...but a tiered Momma! Great weekend! Only 2 more weekends until Chris gets here! I CAN'T WAIT!! :)

Off to Grandmother's House We Go!

Emma Clare had a weekend of Grandmas! I went to Savannah for a long weekend with Chris. We had a great time seeing friends and getting a lot of packing (and purging!) done. EC had a wonderful time getting spoiled (do you see that cookie! It is the size of her face!). She went to the farm with Nana on Saturday and had lots of fun terrorizing the goats! I'm also so happy that when she slept at Grandma Pat's that she slept through the night in her pack and play! I was a little worried about that. It was great to see Chris (and enjoy Savannah's weather!) but 4 days was just too long to be away from my baby girl! We were VERY happy to see each other this morning! Thank you Grandmas for all of the fun!!

New Kicks!

Do you like my shoes? EC is now walking around like crazy, so we got her first pair of shoes! Keens! Mom and Dad love Keens, and it looks like baby girl does too!

We had an AMAZING weekend! Chris was in town, and we just got to hang out and just spend some time as a family! On Saturday our friends Tom and Kate's daughter was baptized. EC had lots of fun at the after party hanging around and plaing (and did GREAT even with out her regular afternoon nap). Sunday, we walked around the mall and got EC some new shoes. It was just one of those great days. EC was holding on to mommy and daddy's hand walking around the mall trying out her new shoes. Just perfect! Can't wait to have Chris here full time!  A few more weeks.
