Happy Mother's Day!

Although we had a VERY soggy mother's day, the kids made is special. Started the day with yummy doughnuts, then hanging out building forts. Kids (and Chris) gave me a gift card for a massage, so can't wait for that! Chris also made my favorite dinner (his homemade tomato vodka sauce-yum!) Great day!

Kiddos are great. Both had soccer this weekend. Em was a rock start, she is really showing a lot of skills. She was even asked to try out for travel (not sure if we are going down that route, but it was nice to be asked). Jordan does not love soccer-he struggles to keep up. He did play for about 5 mins of the game this Saturday, so we are considering that a win.

Jordan got a much needed haircut. He was super excited about the batman car (but when did he get SO TALL!).

Em had a super fun birthday party for her friend Cadence. And we celebrated Nana's birthday on Sunday. It was a packed weekend. As always, I'm feeling not ready to start Monday and behind...but I'll catch up eventually, maybe.

Happy 5th Birthday Jordan! Jo had an awesome birthday. He has had a cold, but that didn't stop him from partying hard (but he did crash). Kiddos are doing well, we are all counting down the days until summer!!

Jordan and Em started soccer this week. Em rocked it and even played goalie and saved several goals. Jordan...well he struggled. It was hard for me to watch, I hate seeing him struggle. But, we'll go back next week and try again! Jordan also came down with an awful cold (which he passed on to me, and yes I tested negative to Covid), so that has been fun. So, lots of inside time watching Peppa Pig, playing Tag with Ryan and playing with Magnatiles (Jordan's all time favorite toy).

Happy 9th Birthday Emma Clare! Happy Easter!

We had a great trip to the OBX. While a little too cold to swim, it was still nice to get out and play in the sun and very easy to social distance (since not many people were there!). Kids did GREAT on the drive (even though it ended up being 14 hours on the way there-yikes!).

Now, trying to get "back to normal". Kiddos go back to school tomorrow!

Enjoying Easter cupcakes

Easter Egg time!

Emma Clare is 9!

Flying kites on the sand dunes!

doughnut on a stick (because, why not!)

They are crazy-the water was SO COLD!

Summer is quickly wrapping up! Em made the freshman volleyball team--I couldn't be more proud of all the hard work she put in this summe...
