Wow, fun weekend! Celebrated Ella's second birthday, hung out with friends-did no house work and pretty much just played. But really, isn't that what the weekends are for! This summer is flying buy! I just ordered Em's school uniforms today (yikes!). Jordan is still so close to crawling...it will happen....

Ok, so I'm the worst at taking pictures this past week! We had a fun 4th of July, celebrated Lindsay's Wedding shower and lots of family time. But, so few pictures, sorry! We were busying clearing up the inside and outside of our house for hosing Lindsay's shower-mulch, paint, you name it. Shower went off without a hitch and now our house looks on point! Em got to swim and play with kittens and dance. Jordan was just happy being cute. Great summer week!

More summer fun! Swimming with the kids and Em got to go horseback ridding. Em is becoming such a big girl-so awesome to see her growing up! Jordan is so sweet, and working so hard on crawling! He is (finally) able to sit up on his own from laying down, which is a huge step. He also had his 6 mo follow up with the neurologist, and they are very happy with his progress so far. He sees no reason for Jordan not to meet all of his milestones, it is just a matter of when, so we will be patient and wait! Loving these summer days!

Family Vacation

We had so much fun on our short vacation! 2 nights with the kiddos was a perfect amount of time. Jordan and Em had lots of fun at Idlewild and the petting zoo. We had perfect weather (low 70s and sunny!). I didn't bring my phone anywhere, so have limited pictures, but know that Chris and my mom took some more, so will try to get them uploaded. Great memories! I could not have asked for a better birthday!

Quick update-Em and Chris went camping for Father's day weekend, had a blast! Next year Jordan will be old enough to go! Jordan also reached the point where he should be born (June 20), so officially 1 year old corrected. He's up to 22lbs! Wow!! We leave for vacation on Sunday-can't wait! 

wow, what a difference a year makes 

It was a hot one this weekend! We had a lot of fun-Saturday we starting the morning at the Westside Market and then spent the rest of teh day playing in the backyard. Sunday, the kiddos were with Grandma and Nana and Chris and I cooked his auction dinner (well, brunch). It was a lot of fun to be in the kitchen with Chris-bummed I did not get pictures but the food was great! Have a great week~

Recital week! Wow, it is no joke. Sunday pictures, Monday tech rehearsal, Tuesday dress rehearsal, Wednesday and Thursday performance. Yikes. Em was a champ-the performances did not even start until 7pm (she usually goes to bed at 7:30) but she did a great job staying awake and the performance was so cute. But man, these older kids-a lot are in 8-10 performances, I can't even imagine the amount of money spent on costumes! Glad to be done!  Hoping things slow down a bit now...

In Jordan updates-he has 2 more bottom teeth! He has also learned to scoot himself while sitting. Still working on crawling, this week at OT she said he may end up just walking, but we are going to keep trying! He is making a lot of progress though! I think we'll at least be army crawling in the next few weeks!
