Our big news for the week. Emma Clare is almost 5! She has been on spring break with Daddy for the last week and a half...I think Dad might be ready to go back to school! But they've had a lot of fun! Some highlights-Em went and saw Beauty and the Beast with Aunt Marissa and Uncle Adam, went to the zoo and swimming with Daddy and made a pinata and baked cookies. We are doing our best to keep her busy!

Jordan has been a rock start and sleeping through the night most nights, and when he does get up eating and going right back to sleep. He is also (finally) sitting on his own and started getting up on his knees to crawl. He has not figured out how to crawl forward, just backwards. But he is able to scoot his way most places and is a rolling machine. He is also waiving!

We had a great little get away going to Great Wolf Lodge (and celebrating Aunt Marissa's birthday!). Jords stayed back with Grandma, and also had a great time. Little man actually slept through the night twice, and has in general, been sleeping much better. Chris and Em have 2 weeks of spring break, so hoping this cool weather breaks a bit so they can have some fun outdoor time!

Busy weekend! We had the Great Escapes at CCDS where we voulenteered. Chris' dinner went for $1200! It was a great event for the school. Sunday Em has a bday party to go to-so between that and adjusting to the time change, nothing really got donw (but we had fun family time!). Love these kiddos!

No big updates. Our little man is still not sleeping great, but in happy sleeping news, Em has a new bed and has put herself to bed every night since! This is a huge triumph. Other than that, just enjoying time together!

Despite lack of sleep form Jordan due to some major teething, we had a fun weekend. Saturday Em had dance class and it was parent watch week-she was so cute! Em and I had a date night on Saturday and went to Build a Bear and out to dinner. It was great to get to spend some one on one time with my girlie! Sunday we did a little shopping and got to spend some time with family and friends.

Both kiddos are doing great. Jordan is up to 18.5lbs and so close to being able to sit on his own. He can do an army crawl, but not up on all fours just yet.

Em is doing great too. She is getting so good at learning how to read! She knows a ton of site words and is getting more confident sounding words out. We are trying not to push her too much with it, but in the last few weeks she has shown a lot more interest!
