Another jam packed week and weekend! Em kicked the weekend off with a trip to the Dr. (she has an ear infection, surprise, surprise) and then we had dance and a birthday part to go to on Saturday. Sunday we pretty much just lounged around (and by lounged around I mean attempted to entertain a 4 year old and baby while running around getting laundry, cleaning and grocery shopping done...).  Jords is officially 6 months old-his dr. appointment is on Wednesday so I'll have the new stats then! Jordan has now tried sweet potatoes, carrots, apples, bananas and pears. His favorites are carrots and apples. He is doing great with solids so far!

What a beautiful weekend! Can't help but love this October weather! We got to spend lots of time outside having fun! Oh, and doing 9 loads of laundry (and it is still not done...guess I got a little bit behind!)

Em is enjoying dance way more and still loving school! Jords had a Dr.'s appointment and is up to 13lbs 8oz and 24 inches! He also has perfected rolling belly to back AND back to belly! The Dr.'s seem very pleased with his progress so far! We've noticed he is using his right hand more than his left (the brain bleed is on the right side so would affect his left) so we are keeping on eye on it. But overall, they are super impressed with his progress! This weekend Em had him laughing so hard by spelling the word CAT over and over again. It was so cute! Love them both to the moon and back!

A fun packed family weekend! Got to enjoy lots of time with family and friends this weekend. We even got to see Ray, Jill, Connor and Ryan! Em was a little out of sorts during the trip, but we still had a good time! And they got to meet Jords for the first time! Also, it is super crazy that about a year ago I found out that I was pregnant with Jords! Wow, it has been a year! Happy Monday!

Got to enjoy some of the beautiful weather this weekend! Went pumpkin picking-Em tried cotton candy for the first time (she said she liked it but quickly switched to cheesy popcorn). Jordan is just about rolling over from his back to his belly-he gets stuck on his side and has not figured out that he needs to move his other arm-but he'll get the hang of it! Overall, a fun weekend with the fam!

 Emmy loves her little brother! I thought by now the novelty would have worn off, but she still always wants to be holding and playing with him! She is a great big sister!

Our big news for the week is Jordan had a great appointment at the neurosurgeon/neurologist. His MRI looked good and he seems to be hitting all of his milestones. The neurosurgeon team seemed confident that we are out of the woods for surgery, but wants to see him in 2 months and then if all goes well we likely won't have to see them again until he turns a year old. The neurologist said he seemed very engaged and had great strength. He is hopeful, but said we will not know long term effects of the brain bleed until Jordan gets closer to 2, but all signs are good for now. Huge relief! Oh, and Jords is 12lbs 11oz and 22.5 inches. Growing strong! Other than that, the kiddos are doing well and we are getting in the swing of school, work, home, repeat!

I went up to bed Sunday night to find this...I had the bedside light on so I can see when I'm walking Jordan up to his room, Em thought this was a good place to sneak to a lay...little stinker.

 I love seeing the relationship Em and Jords are starting. He is always staring his sis, and she is totally in love with him. Pretty darn cool to witness!

Em had a great week at school, and actually enjoyed dance class this week. She did tell me that in school they do not have enough time to play (welcome to the real world of JK) but that she should be learning to read soon. So that's good. She also got a special trip to the aquarium with Grandma on Saturday, which she totally loved.

Jords is being a total love bug, Still sleeping pretty well (will do a 6-7 hour stretch, eat, then go back down for another 4-5 hours). He is getting big for sure! He has become so much more interactive over the past 2 weeks! I had my favorite moment the other night where we had a good 15 minuet conversation of him cooing and me, and me cooing back. Not sure what he said, or what I said, but it must have made him happy because he was smiling up a storm! We have a neurosurgeon and neurologist follow up this Friday, so keep the prayers coming! If we get a good report this time we should get to go a few months between visits!
