Happy October! Could the weather be any more prefect! And all of the leaves? I just love it! Another great weekend has come and gone. Hanging out, goofing around, cooking. Just generally having fun! Our little girlie cracks me up. Such personality. Enjoy the many faces of Emma Clare!
Silly!
Surprised!
Mad (I see this one a lot...)
Sad (my personal favorite-not when she is really sad, but her fake sad is pretty freaking cute!)
Happy!!
Yummy Doughnut with Mommy and Grandma! (and milk in a carton-which Em thought was like the coolest thing every!)

7 Years!
Wow, can't believe Chris and I have been married 7 years. We've moved away from Cleveland, lived in Savannah, had our beautiful daughter, moved back to Cleveland, bought our first house, sold our first house...and the list goes on and on! Saturday Nana and Uncle Adam spent the Day with EC so we could have date day/night. Went to the Westside Market to get the makings for lobster mac and cheese (let me tell you...best thing I ever ate!) and got drinks and appetizers at Bar Centro. Perfect day! Sunday we spent watching the Browns...how they pulled out that win...wow! Ok, and look at how cute this girlie is! LOVE HER! Oh, but we are sick...again...in our house. Em came home with a cold early last week, now I have it. She seems to be better other than a little cough, so I'm sure I'll be fine in a few days too. Ugg...
Is that daddy in the background?
Swinging-don't care if it's cold and I'm too big for the swing!
Painting daddy's toes!

Can you even believe this beautiful weather? People often ask me why we moved back to Cleveland after living in GA-and I have to admit in the dead of winter I'm wondering the same thing-but rarely did we have weather as perfect as this! We are loving our time outside!
Em had a great weekend kicked off with dinner out with Aunt Caitlin and Uncle "Opa". I was amazed at how well she sat still and ate dinner-our best restaurant experience yet! Saturday we spent some time and JCU and Em got to play with her BFF Elise. Oh, and cutest thing ever. We were with Nana and Nana asked Em "Is Elise your best friend?" She looked at her and said "No, mommy is my best friend". Heart officially melted.
Sunday was just spent hanging out, cooking and watching football.

Smart Girlie!
Em just amazes me everyday with how smart she is (and the things that come out of her mouth!). I took a few videos this weekend-her doing the ABC and answering her birthday, how to spell her name and her "whole" name. Just too darn cute. Em had an AWESOME weekend. Saturday she went to Daddy's (soon to be EC's) school for COSI day and loved it. Nana walked around with her to explore, and spend hours on the playground. Thank you Nana! Sunday Em had a mommy and Grandma day (Chris was at the game). We went out to lunch and painted pumpkins. Lots of fun!
Yummy!
KC and Em
Pumpkin painting! (Em keeps calling them pumpkin boats...not sure why). You like the egg container holding the paints? I totally should have been a kindergarten teacher...

Pumpkin spice anyone? Who is feeling excited for fall? I know this girl is! Great weekend, Nana took EC for Saturday and Chris and I were able to run errands and have a fun double date night with Tom and Kate. A much needed break after the weeks and weeks of illness. Ok, can we talk about how cute this little girlie is? I just love her (even when she is a little naughty...which during her twos has pretty much been daily). Just love her to pieces!

Down for the Count
Can I even write ANOTHER post about sickness in our house? I guess so, because that is what this last week was. EC and I were hit, and hit hard. Both has high fevers, misery, you name it. I don't want to dwell on it, because I really don't want to think about it, but lets just say I had many tears (mine and ECs) shed over this past week. Ok, we are moving past it and on to a healthy week!
Go Brownies!!
It starts...look at that pitiful girlie!

Oh yeah, that's me, 103 fever getting breathing treatment number 2 at the doctor. Great. (but I feel much better!!)

What a wonderful long weekend! We we able to meet up with some old friends in Boone, NC to hang out for good laughs! I'll let the pictures do most of the talking, but as you can see, we had a lot of fun! EC did GREAT on the car ride and slept really well at our friends house (which I was super worried about). Amazing memories!
Just chillin' in the car with dolly!
Everything is better with strawberry ice cream!
Daddy and EC gem mining (this was WAY out of Daddy's comfort zone...BIG mess!)
How do you keep a bunch of kids quiet? Give them legos!
Really Em? What is that face?
Bloody Mary Bar (sorry Nichole! None for you!)
Mommy and EC (yeah, sorry about the no shirt thing-gem mining is really messy-Em was covered with dirt from head to toe!)
