I feel so blessed to have this little girl in my life! Everyday just gets better and better! This weekend we kicked it off by joining Mark and Caitlin and the Cuyahoga County Fair (sorry, no pics) where EC got to enjoy some dippn' dots. She loved them! We hung out most of Saturday at Nana's, then Sunday went to the Splash Pad on Olmsted Falls-so fun by the way! We wrapped up the weekend having a photo shoot with Mark and Caitlin and visiting Daddy's classroom. Just a great relaxing, fun weekend!

WOW! What a weekend. Those of you out there who are working moms likely share my plight. I feel like I never get enough time with Emma Clare, so come the weekends we are jam packing all of the fun stuff we'd love to have time to do during the week. I took the day off on Friday and we all went to the zoo. Emma Clare had a blast! She LOVED looking at all of the fishes and turtle and was totally enthralled by the waterfall at the rainforest. I'm so happy we have a membership and can just go to small sections of the zoo at a time, it really allows her to take things in and us not feeling like we need to rush around to get our money worth! EC also got to play with her BFF Elise. To say that EC is in love with her would be an understatement! We rounded the weekend out with some splash pad time at Crocker Park. I have a cute video of this too, I'll try to load later when I have a little more time.

Browns Training Camp!

Is it just me, or is summer flying by! Chris is in his last week of grad school classes (can we have a WAHOO!!) and my CRAZY summer at work is starting to wind down (kind of...). I can feel fall in the air, and I'm not really ready yet! Maybe that's because I'm still use to Savannah weather that doesn't start cooling down until December...

Anyway, another great week and weekend. We took EC to Browns Training Camp on Thursday, she had a great time running around-not sure that she watched any football, but we had fun (and got free t-shirts, woot!). Chris and I volunteered at the zoo on Saturday morning for a 5K for Wigs for Kids (what a great organization) and had a lot of fun in spite the early morning and bad weather (cold and rainy!!). We then went on a mini date to see Titanica at the Omnimx theater (one of Chris' favorite things to do). The rest of the weekend was just chilli' with nana and grandma. Emma Clare had a ton of fun. Overall, another great weekend! Enjoy the pics!! :)

Emma Clare is at such a fun age right now! She is really starting to show her personality! She loves doing "funny" things or making faces to make use laugh! She laughs at some of the weirdest  things-like turning a light switch on and off or putting a hat on her head. I know I've said it before, and I'll say it again, but I am totally in love with this girl!

Summer Colds!

 

This past week we've all been getting over summer colds, so the weekend was kind of a bust. Chris was helping a friend with a project, so mostly it was just me and EC hanging out! We spent some time at Crocker Park on Saturday, and then Target on Sunday-like I said super low key! Emma Clare had fun playing with LouLou-they just love each other!

Wow! What a great long weekend! I don't have pictures from half of the things we did, but I can assure you lots of fun was had by all! We kicked off the weekend celebrating with Tom, Kate and Elise. Don't know who's cuter, Elise and EC kissing or the boys...On the 4th we went to Chris' Godmother's house and went swimming-which Emma Clare LOVED! Grandma also taught her how to roll down hills. On Friday we went to visit Uncle Ray, Aunt Jill, Connor and Ryan in Cincinnati. They were great hosts and showed us an amazing time-in spite of all of the rain! We took the kids out for pizza on Friday, then spent time at the HUGE children's museum on Saturday (do you see the size of that water table?! EC was in HEAVEN!) The kids had fun playing together and making messes-as they should! Emma Clare did much better on the drive than we thought she would-but refused to nap! Overall, GREAT weekend with family and friends!

 What a GREAT weekend! Although I pretty much think all weekends are great....

Saturday was a chill day, pretty much just hung around the house and had a little outing with grandma. Chris and some friends brewed beer, and then we had people over for dinner for my birthday. Chris made my favorite, tomato vodka sauce and topped the night off with homemade ho hos. Yeah...the diet starts now from all the darn cake I ate from my week long birthday celebration, but totally worth it! Sunday we went to the zoo-SO FUN! Uncle Adam and Aunt Marissa, Nana and Tom, Kate and Elise all met us. Emma Clare had a great (and exhausting!!) time. We ended up buying season passes-good thing we did since in 3 hours we only made it about a quarter of the way through the zoo!! Emma Clare rode in a wagon-too cute. Ok, so enjoy the pics!
