Photo Bomb

Saturday morning cuddles. Love this little girl!

This is what happens when Daddy dresses Emma Clare. I say no bows, but he just loves them!

How does she get herslef in these situations!

This one just makes me laugh. This is her yogurt face. She really does like yogurt, not that you can tell from this picture...

Would you like a bite of my cracker?

Pumpkin Patch!

Sorry this picture is so dark we took it with Chris' cell phone. But how stinking cute is she! This weekend we went to the pumpkin patch-well we are in GA so the pumpkin patch is kind of lame with just a pumpkins sitting around. We did do a corn maze and go on a hayride though!

In other new, Emma Clare has her first tooth! And her second is just about to poke through. Oh, and she is getting moved up to the next class in daycare. Although she is one of the youngest, she is also the most "active" and they can't contain her any longer in the infant class. They've had to start closing the door because she makes it to the hallway on a daily basis. She is not crawling yet, more of an army crawl/roll combination, but she sure is fast!

I took a bunch of cute pictures this weekend, so I'll post more soon!

Visitng Friends

This weekend Chris and I celebrated 5 years of marriage! I can't believe that it has already been 5 years! We have been very blessed. We went and visited our friends, in Asheville, NC. Sophia (Nichole and August's 6 year old daughter) was a great babysitter!! How cute is our little peanut (ok..maybe not so little).

Cute Little Pumpkin!

OMG how freaking cute is she? I really just can't get enough!

No real news-we think we've finally beat the ear infection (after our poor baby had to get shots of antibiotics).

What a cute little pumpkin! Happy Wednesday!

She Can Sit!

I'm so not good at documenting milestones! Emma Clare has been sitting on her own from about two weeks now, and I keep forgetting to take pictures! If I did not have a camera phone, we would never have any pictures! So here she is sitting! YAY! The top picture is actually after she made herself fall, which she thinks is the funniest thing ever (probably because it gives mom a heart attack! She does not just kind of fall backwards like on her own, she flings herself backwards and laughs...). She's pretty darn cute, right?

Not that you can tell from these happy pictures, but baby girl is still fighting this awful ear infection! We are very lucky to have such a happy baby! This weekend Emma Clare was waking up a night, and seemed uncomfortable, but during the day was pretty happy. We decided to take her back in to have her ears checked again (we had just finished a 10 day supply of antibiotics). She now has an ear infection in both ears (oh and pus on her eardrum..gross). So we are back to another 10 days of antibiotics. Hopefully this will kick it! I guess this antibiotic can cause tummy troubles, so EC will also be eating yogurt-which was a hilarious adventure last night. I'll have to get a video to post!

This weekend we took advantage of the great weather and went to the park and beach. It was great to be outside! Chris is also playing in a soccer league so we went to watch him (don't worry, I'll take pictures of that next week!)

Nothing else new in the Mullen household! Just loving on our little (ok...not so little) girl!

Random!

Long time no post! Work has been CRAZY, so I've been too tired at night to do much other than take care of this cute little girl! Emma Clare had her first ear infection-so sad! We actually took her to the doctor because she had 5 blowout diapers at daycare, and it turned out she had an ear infection. She was not fussy or anything! So glad we took her to the doctor. Oh, and baby girl is weighing in at a solid 19.8 pounds.

In other news...

As you can see, EC is a Cleveland Browns fan (just like her dad!).

She is also enjoying carrots (as you can see from the second picture), sweet potatoes and bananas. I've been making my own baby food, so each weekend we make a new kind and freeze it for the next few weeks. She really seems to be enjoying solids and eats them once or twice a day. She is happy as ever, always smiling and laughing. She is just so much fun!

We plan on enjoying the cooler weather this weekend-only in the 80s!! YAY!!

Summer is quickly wrapping up! Em made the freshman volleyball team--I couldn't be more proud of all the hard work she put in this summe...
